This doesn’t mean you should walk around in one of those Old Navy American flag t-shirts (that everyone owned when they were 8 years old). N0r should you go out of your way to piece-together an American flag-inspired outfit. Chances are, there are currently clothes hanging in your closet that you’re overlooking. And let’s be real: it’s such a casual day in Miami that you really don’t need to splurge on a new outfit.
Personally, I’m a huge fan of versatility when it comes to clothing and style. If you have the ability to stick to a color palette and combine things in the right fashion (no pun intended), a little can go a long way.
Today’s inspired look features two basics: a blue button-down and white shorts. The occasion allows you to get away with red lips and nails. Lastly, add a few red accessories or shoes, and “BOOM!”…you’ll have your own little firework show without spending a dime or walking around like the American flag itself!
